Abstract: intensity,gust characteristics and wind direction characteristics were studied in TC landing process,a adaptivedesign method of wind turbine to typhoon conditions is suggested,including typhoon characteristics,typhoondesign conditions,structural design,control strategy,operation and maintenance strategy.The typhoon design load is simulated based on the suggested method;The result shows that the suggestedmethod of offshore wind turbine anti-typhoon design has a better economy and safety.
